We ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Bordeaux

We’ve been to Bordeaux quite a few times now but in the past we’ve always been on a time frame, never having quite enough time to just wander and soak up the atmosphere. This time was different, there was no movie to catch or dog to get back for, so we just mooched and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

The autumnal colours on the drive to Bordeaux just gorgeous.

And I call this a blue sky ย the weather is wonderful ย couldn’t have ordered a better day.

We park on the top of our favourite multi story car park, Victor Hugo, with the vintage Jaguar hanging out over the street.

The roof tops of Bordeaux visible from our parking spot.

Cal was on a quest to find some LeBron James basket ball shoes.

And I was feeling light on my feet and had a spring in my step even without basket ball shoes on my feet๐Ÿ˜‰

There was a fun fair over looking the river and running down from Place des Quinconces one of the main squares. ย Here are some churros that even Cal couldn’t finish.

Then he had a go at a shooting game. ย Got all four targets and won a knife. ย We won’t be taking that back on the plane.

We didn’t, but you could have a panoramic view from this ferris wheel at the fun fair.

This has to be the sign of a perfect day when the moon is shinning over you on your journey home๐Ÿ˜

  1. Great photos, Sue. We love Bordeaux too! Hattie and I are making a speedy dash back to the house tomorrow, heading back home again overnight on Saturday. Has been tricky to arrange this half term as we met up with Ted on Saturday for the first time since he headed off to university, then the other two had loads of homework; then, I decided I’d go for a quick trip on my own and leave them here to work… finally , at the last minute, Hattie decided to join me but Arthur chose to stay at home with Rufus as he has things planned with his friends – I will be doing some dull assessments on the ferry and she can revise some chemistry! Can’t wait to get back there tomorrow night! x

    • Hi J, great to hear from you. This was a petit sรฉjour indeed as it’s half term here and Cal also has revision and I have loads of marking and prep for next week. We just wanted to see the building progress. Back at Feb half term:)
