Eh Up – Tour de France comes to Yorkshire!!!

Tour de France After all the anticipation le Tour finally came to Yorkshire.  Stage 1 and Le Grand Depart left Leeds and ended in Harrogate.  So many people we didn’t get to see much but great atmosphere.

Knaresborough was looking good!

Some people had a really good view from the top of St Peter’s Church.

  1. Great Photos – I only watched TV, at 11.08 on Saturday – 5 Maroon helicopters flew over the house – heading North – I now know these were the young Royals on the way to Harewood House.

We are not going to Cornwall – too long in the car – but have booked to go to Holland 28 Aug- 7 Sept.

Flora rang & we are booked on a coach trip to Lille on 6 Sept – to biggest Flea Market in France!
